So I’m thinking

maybe i should go out to the race site and run the course tomorrow. It’s mapped out on the website, so i know exactly where the course is… what do you think? might help ease the anxiousness of the “unknown”.

Running your race route is the BEST thing you could do for yourself come race day!!! I try and do that for all races if possible. Knowing your route wil surely enhance your time and experience…DO IT!

Good Luck

Yeah, I second what greenking17 says. Even if you can’t “run” the course, it helps to drive the bike portion and at least see part of the run. For me (not being a swimmer) every time I show up on race morning and look at the swim buoys I kind of freak out cause it looks SOOOO long. Just remember that it is not actually that far and is the shortest leg of the race! Good luck and most importantly HAVE FUN! I’m sure you’ll be hooked and want to do many more!
